EDDY DISCOVERY CENTER HOSTS NATURE WALK

LANSING--The Eddy Discovery Center in the Waterloo Recreation Area near Chelsea will host a nature walk that explores the various ways animals cope with winter on Saturday, Dec. 1. During the one-hour walk, which begins at 2 p.m., participants will get a close-up look at some possible shelters and hideaways that wildlife use in winter and also look for animal signs, including tracks. Be sure to dress appropriately for the weather.
A state park motor vehicle permit is required for entry. Advance registration is required for this program. Call 734-475-3170.
The Eddy Discovery Center is located on Bush Road between Pierce and McClure Roads in Chelsea. Take I-94 to exit 157 (Pierce Road) and go north to Bush Road. Take Bush Road west to the center.
