DODGE #4 STATE PARK OFFERS FISHING FOR BEGINNERS

LANSING--Dodge #4 State Park is hosting an introduction to
fishing program, Saturday, May 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.,
for beginning anglers of all ages. Children must be
accompanied by an adult.
Participants will receive instruction in the basics of
fishing using the catch-and-release method! Park staff will
provide the worms, poles and teach a short hands-on lesson
during which basic fishing techniques will be demonstrated,
so all you have to bring is yourself! Meet at the Bay
Shelter.
Dodge #4 State Park is located at 4250 Parkway Drive in
Waterford. Take M-59 west from Pontiac to Cass Lake Road and
go south to Cass-Elizabeth Road. A Michigan State Park motor
vehicle permit ($4 daily, $20 annual), available at each
park entrance gate is required for entry into the park.
